Jam Bon Returns for 2026

Hi folks,

After a great kickoff in late 2025, I'm pleased to report that we're back at the Pigs Ear on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 6-9PM until further notice.

There was a great turnout of around 20 people through the evening on the opening night. December still had a strong turnout of around 15 people despite the weather. Each time, we had many seasoned pickers, and a solid showing of folks less familiar with the tunes, as well as a couple folks just wanting to check things out.

Over the two sessions, we talked a bunch about the timing, and the futures dates. There is a lot of community music happening in Peterborough, and it can be a challenge to fit it all in. After great deliberation, we've settled on the new Wednesday frequency - same time, same place.
